GOAL
Identify and fix pain points of UofT Petition Page.
Compare two redesigns (incremental Site A vs. fuller Site B) via A/B testing.
Make filing, tracking, and updating petitions faster and clearer.
OVERVIEW
Preserves current streamlines submission flow.
Adds a petitions hub to view/update tickets in-site.
Key design moves: put guidance inside each petition form, enable on-site updates, and simplify flows.
HIGHLIGHTS
Diagnosed issues: information overload, no integration for updates, unresponsive mobile, confusing terminology.
Redesign strategy: contain info per petition, add view/update page (Site B), keep on-site ticket updates.
Test protocol: participant think-aloud, timed tasks, pass/fail marking, post-session feedback to compare A vs. B.
